End of First Semester Examinations: Important Information for first-year students

NOTICE

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR END OF FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS-
2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

All Undergraduate Level 100 and Diploma First Year Students are to take note of the following important information for the End of First Semester Examinations-2023/2024 Academic Year:

1. The end-of-semester examinations will be held from Friday, 26th April to Sunday, 12th May, 2024.

2. Consequently, all students are required to visit the University website for the final examination timetable which was published on Wednesday, 17th April, 2024.

3. All examinations will be held in person (face-to-face). Please note that Weekend and Evening Session students will sit their examinations together while the Regular Session students will have a separate sitting.

4. All students are required to be seated 30 minutes before the start of each paper. No lateness to the examination hall will be entertained.

5. The compulsory use of a student’s ID card for all University examinations is still in force. However, all first-year students who currently do not have it may use their duly endorsed and stamped proof of registration. Students who have misplaced their proof of registration may retrieve a copy from the Data Centre (AB.9) for endorsement and stamping in their respective departments.

6. All students are entreated to comply with all rules and regulations governing the University examinations which have been circulated on the University website as well as on all students’ social media group platforms.
