Dr. Linda Narh takes over as MABC Coordinator

The School of Graduate Studies at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has welcomed Dr. Mrs. Linda Narh, a lecturer at the Faculty of Management Studies, as its new Coordinator for the Master of Arts in Brands and Communication Management and the MBA Corporate Communications programmes.

Outdooring the new programme’s coordinator at a brief ceremony on Tuesday, July 4, members of the faculty congratulated Dr Narh on her appointment and extended their goodwill messages.

Dr. Linda Narh, a Chartered Marketer, comes highly recommended and brings a wealth of industry experience to the role.

She holds a PhD in Marketing and has extensive experience in advertising, media, telecommunications, and the financial sectors as a marketing practitioner.

Her valuable impact in her field is evident in the various awards her work has received from the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) and Ghana Information Technology & Telecom (GITTA) Awards.

She replaces Dr Ibn Kailan Abdul-Hamid, who has taken a new appointment as head of the Department of Marketing at UPSA.

Dr. Abdul-Hamid described Dr. Narh as a very capable academic and marketing professional with the temperament and expertise to manage the affairs of the two communication programmes.

“We are confident that her expertise will benefit the MABC and Corporate Communications programmes, as well as the faculty in general,” he said.

Reflecting on the challenges and triumphs chalked up during his tenure, Dr. Abdul-Hamid expressed his gratitude to the members of the faculty for the support received while urging them to extend the same support to the new coordinator.

The ceremony saw a gathering of esteemed faculty members, including the Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies, Prof. Fidelis Quansah; Dr George Cudjoe Agbemebiase, Vice-Dean of the School of Graduate Studies; Dr Ernest Mensah Abraham, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies; as well as some administrative staff and students.
