CPMLET collaborates with MP, law firms to launch community legal clinic at Pantang village

The Centre for Practical and Multidisciplinary Legal Education and Training (CPMLET), UPSA joined the Member of Parliament (MP) for Madina, F-X Law and Associates and Atuguba & Associates on 31st July, 2021 to launch a Community Legal Clinic at Pantang Village in the Ga East Municipality of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

Lawyers of the collaborating entities provided various pieces of legal advice to members of the community ranging from succession, landlord and tenant relationship to acquisition and ownership and rights and obligations of citizen to members of the community.

About forty UPSA law students joined CPMLET to participate in the programme. Law students from the University of Ghana Law School, UPSA Law School, Wisconsin International University Faculty of Law also attended and participated in the programme.

The Legal Clinic provided opportunity for law students to apply and resolve practical Community problems.
