ComSSA executives express gratitude to Vice-Chancellor

The executives of the Communication Studies Students Association (ComSSA) at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), have paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor, to express their appreciation for his unwavering support during their ComSSA Week celebrations.

The delegation was led by the Patron of the Association, Dr. Justice Issah Abudulai, and included the Vice Patron, Mr. Godwin Kusi Danquah.

Prof. Mawutor commended the association for its active engagement and contributions to student development.

He encouraged the executive to apply their acquired communication knowledge and skills to promote and protect the image of the University.

The Vice-Chancellor also announced plans to harmonize and consolidate all departmental week celebrations to ensure that these significant events do not interfere with academic work and the overall academic calendar.

He emphasized the importance of balancing extracurricular activities with academic commitments to maintain high academic standards.

The ComSSA delegation was accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Studies, Dr. Godfred Koi-Akrofi, and the Head of the Department of Communication Studies, Dr. Mrs. Adwoa Sikayena Amankwah.

Also present was Mr. Simon Dziwornu Jnr, the Departmental Officer for Communication Studies, as well as the Face of ComSSA beauty Queen, Miss Dorcas Boahema, and the Second Runner-up, Miss Abigail Baah Boateng.
