Ayawaso West MP and UPSA Global Alumni repair streetlights on UPSA-UGBS road

As part of efforts to enhance community safety and increase visibility at night around campus, the UPSA Global Alumni Association has facilitated the repair of faulty streetlights along the UPSA-UGBS road.

This positive development is the result of a collaborative effort spearheaded by the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wugon, Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan.

The malfunctioning streetlights had been a concern for both the university community and the wider neighbourhood.

UPSA Global Alumni President, Mr Francis Dadzie, said the initiative not only addresses immediate safety concerns for students, faculty, and residents but also reflects the commitment of key stakeholders to the well-being of the entire UPSA community.

“The restored streetlights will enhance visibility and contribute significantly to the overall security of the UPSA-UGBS stretch,” Mr Dadzie said.

He expressed the Association’s gratitude to Madam Lydia Alhassan for her support.

“This successful intervention serves as a testament to the positive impact that can be achieved through cooperation between public representatives and local institutions,” Mr. Dadzie said.
