NOTICE
ARRANGEMENT FOR RE-OPENING FIRST SEMESTER-2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR
UNDERGRADUATE (LEVELS 200-400), DIPLOMA SECOND YEAR AND POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS
This comes to inform all undergraduate (Levels 200-400), diploma second year, and postgraduate (including doctorate and distance learning) continuing students that the University will re-open for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year as follows:
1. Course Registration
Students must pay the required fees at any Access Bank branch and disburse the amount on UFIS accordingly. After completing this step, students should log into their USIS student portal for their course registration as well as resit registration from Monday, 1st September to Sunday, 28th September, 2025.
2. Teaching, Examination and Other Activities
Undergraduate (Levels 300 & 400) and Postgraduate (Master’s Continuing students & Doctorate First Year and Continuing students)
| Teaching: | Monday, 7th September, 2025 – Sunday, 23rd November, 2025 – (11 weeks) |
| Revision: | Monday, 24th November, 2025 – Sunday, 30th November, 2025 – (1 week) |
| Examination: | Monday, 1st December, 2025 – Sunday, 21st December, 2025 (3 weeks) |
| Inter-Semester Break: | Monday, 22nd December, 2025− Sunday, 22nd February, 2026 – (9 weeks) |
Undergraduate (Level 200), Diploma (Second Year) and Postgraduate First Year Students
| Teaching: | Monday, 29th September, 2025 – Sunday,21st December, 2025 – (12 weeks) |
| Revision/Christmas break: | Monday, 22nd December, 2025 – Sunday, 11th January, 2026 |
| Examination: | Monday, 12th January, 2026 – Sunday, 25th January, 2026 –(2 weeks) |
| Inter-Semester Break: | Monday, 26th January, 2026 − Sunday, 22nd February, 2026 – (4 Weeks) |

All students must note the specified periods for various activities and adhere accordingly.
