The UPSA@60 Anniversary Planning Committee has presented a brand-new laptop to Bismark Osei Agyeman, winner of the University’s 60th Anniversary Logo Design Competition. At a brief ceremony held on Thursday, 2 April 2026, Mr Agyeman was formally honored for his outstanding and creative design, which was selected as the official logo for the anniversary celebrations.
As part of his prize package, Mr Agyeman received an HP laptop and a laptop bag in recognition of the quality and originality of his work. His design is expected to serve as a key visual identity for activities marking the University’s 60th Anniversary.
Presenting the items, Chairman of the UPSA@60 Anniversary Planning Committee, Mr Kwabena Agyekum, commended Mr Agyeman for his exceptional creativity and innovation. He noted that the winning design captures both the University’s rich legacy and its forward-looking vision, and encouraged him to continue developing his talent in ways that contribute to national development.
The Committee also recognised Patrick Tetteh, the runner-up in the competition, who received a pair of ear pods in acknowledgement of his impressive effort.
Present at the ceremony were Dr (Mrs) Leticia Akyeampong, Acting Director of Administration and Secretary to the Planning Committee, and Mr Peter Kwasi Kodjie, Coordinator of the UPSA Media Unit and a member of the Planning Committee.
The presentation forms part of activities lined up to commemorate the University’s 60th Anniversary, which will climax later this year with a series of events.
