UPSA promotes eight Senior Faculty Members

The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), has announced the promotion of eight distinguished faculty members across various departments in recognition of their academic achievements, research contributions, and dedication to teaching excellence.

Leading the list is Dr. Mrs Philomena Dadzie of the Department of Banking and Finance, who has been promoted from Senior Lecturer to Associate Professor. Her elevation reflects her outstanding contributions to scholarship and leadership in finance education.

Six other faculty members from the Faculty of Management Studies were also promoted.

Dr. Juliana Akushika Andoh of the Department of Marketing has been promoted from lecturer to senior lecturer.

In the Department of Business Administration, Dr. Joseph Gerald Nyanyofio, Dr. Anthony Nkrumah Agyabeng, Dr. Bede Akorige Atarah, and Dr. Fred Awaah have each been promoted from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer. Dr. Salifu Adam, formerly a Research Fellow in the same department, has been elevated to the rank of Senior Research Fellow.

Additionally, Dr. Andrews Ayiku of the Department of Marketing has also been promoted from lecturer to senior lecturer.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. John Mawutor, commended the newly promoted faculty for their dedication and commitment to academic excellence.

He encouraged them to continue raising the bar in teaching, research, and service to the university community.
