NOTICE
2025 MATRICULATION CEREMONY FOR UNDERGRADUATE, DIPLOMA & POSTGRADUATE (JANUARY INTAKE) STUDENTS
This is to inform all Undergraduate, Diploma, and Postgraduate (January Intake) fresh students that Matriculation Ceremonies to formally admit them into the University will be held as follows:
First Session: Faculty of Accounting & Finance and Faculty of Management Studies
Date: Friday, 7th March, 2025
Time: 9.00 am
Second Session: UPSA Law School, Faculty of IT & Communication Studies & School of Graduate Studies (January Intake)
Date: Friday, 7th March, 2025
Time: 2.00 pm
There will also be a compulsory Matriculation Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, 9th March, 2025 at 9.00 a.m. at the same venue.
All students enrolling at UPSA for the first time must participate in the matriculation ceremony and sign the Matriculation Oath. Any undergraduate, diploma, or postgraduate student (January intake) who does not complete the matriculation process will not be recognised as a student of the University.
Fresh students are required to affirm the matriculation oath online. To do this, they should follow the link provided on their USIS student portal. After completing the online affirmation, students must print out the proof of affirmation slip and sign it for submission to their respective Deans of Faculty following the matriculation ceremony. Additionally, fresh students will take the Matriculation Oath during the ceremony itself.
The prescribed attire for the ceremony is formal dress i.e. suit/jacket with preferably UPSA neck tie or UPSA scarf in the case of ladies.
Note that no well-wishers including parents are invited to this ceremony.
