2021 Matriculation Ceremony | Second Session

  • Date February 8, 2021

This comes to inform all undergraduate and diploma freshmen and women that there will be Matriculation Ceremony to formally admit them into the University as follows:

Date: Friday, 12th February, 2021

Time: 9:00 a.m.

Venue: New Auditorium

A representative group of the fresh students will be selected to attend the ceremony in-person while the rest will join the event online via a link to be communicated soon. All Fresh Students are required to be available for the Ceremony at 8.00 a.m.

Please note that it is mandatory for every student enrolled in UPSA for the first time to go through the rites of Matriculation and sign the Matriculation Oath. Any undergraduate and diploma Fresh Student who fails to avail himself/herself for the matriculation process will have his/her studentship revoked.

Fresh Students are expected to affirm the matriculation oath online. To do this, students should follow the link on their USIS Student’s Portal. Students are required to print out a proof of affirmation of Matriculation Oath slip and append their signature to it for submission to their various Deans after the Matriculation Ceremony.

Fresh Students will also take the Matriculation Oath during the Ceremony.

The prescribed attire for those who will be attending the ceremony in-person is formal dress i.e. suit/jacket with preferably UPSA neck tie or UPSA scarf in the case of ladies.

Thank you.

Signed

Edward Bannerman-Wood
