UNIVERSITY OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES, ACCRA 17TH CONGREGATION CEREMONIES
The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) announces for the information of the 2025 graduands and the general public that the 17th Congregation Ceremonies of the University to award degree and diploma certificates to persons who completed their programmes of study in the 2024/2025 academic year will be held as follows:

Registration for the Congregation:
Students who have successfully completed their programmes of study in June/July 2025 in the faculties/schools mentioned above and wish to be presented at the various congregation ceremonies are requested to follow the procedure below to register for the ceremony starting on Monday, 22nd September, 2025.
- A non-refundable fee of GH¢500.00 is to be paid at any branch of Access Bank Ltd, and the payment is disbursed on the UFIS student’s payment portal as a graduation fee.
- Graduands should log onto their USIS student portal and click the “Register for Graduation” tab to register for the graduation ceremony.
The closing date for registration is Thursday, 25th September, 2025. No late registration will be entertained.

Collection and Return of the Academic Gown:
Use your proof of registration and the UFIS disbursement print-out to collect your gown and souvenirs from the Ground Floor of the Yaw Adutwum Building starting Monday, 22nd September 2025.
The deadline for the gown collection is Thursday, 25th September, 2025 at 5.00 pm.
Graduands are requested to return their academic gowns by 5:00 p.m. on the day following their respective graduation ceremony. Failure to do so will incur a penalty of GH¢50.00 per day.
Attire:
Those to be presented will be expected to be seated in the Auditorium by 8:00 am, wearing the appropriate academic gown over a suit/jacket, with a UPSA necktie or scarf in the case of ladies.
Annotation:
- Graduands are to note that those who fail to attend the ceremony will equally be required to pay the same amount and cleared of all financial obligations before their souvenirs and certificates are released to them.
- Attendance at the graduation ceremony is limited to the graduating students (graduands) and one guest per graduating student.
- Parties on lawns and other open spaces on campus after the ceremony are prohibited.
- Granduands who wish to collect their certificates on graduation day should clear themselves of all obligations to the University before the collection time.
