UPSA Pro-Vice Chancellor calls for collaboration among African universities

Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Professor John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor, has called on African universities to strengthen collaboration to accelerate the continent’s progress.

He emphasised this during a speech at the closing ceremony of the 2024 QS Africa Forum, hosted by UPSA.

“There is so much we can learn from each other when we collaborate,” Prof Mawutor said, urging universities to move away from competition and embrace partnership for mutual growth.

“We lose when we try to compete with ourselves,” he added.
