Richard Obeng is an adjunct lecturer at the UPSA Faculty of law. He is also a lawyer by profession and works with the law firm of Dr. W.C. Ekow Daniels & Co., a leading law firm in Accra specializing in contract drafting and negotiation, corporate and commercial litigation. Richard has also worked in various capacities including working as a Key Account Manager and Territory Sales Manager at Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited and Vodafone Ghana Limited, respectively.

Richard’s research interests include Corporate Law, International Commercial Arbitration, International Business Transactions, International Trade & Investment Law and Securities Law. His ongoing research interests are in Derivative Actions and Minority Shareholders rights. Richard is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law, Queens University, Canada
