The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for appointment as MEDICAL OFFICER.
The position holder will have the following duties:
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Handling and adhering to clinical care procedures, protocols and standards
- Attending to clinical care services across the UPSA
- Provide direct supervision and training to nursing staff
- Participate in providing educational programmes for the university students on health issues
- Participate in outreach to the university community to promote health education
Educational and Professional Qualification
- Member of the Ghana Medical Association
- Minimum qualification of MBChB
Knowledge & Experience
- A minimum of 3 years cumulative clinical experience
- A broad knowledge base and experience in clinical care
- Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
