Call for expression of Interest: Operators of Recreational Facility UPSA Senior Members’ Club House

The Senior Members' Club House is a recreational facility for Senior Members of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). It is a one-storey building located near the gate-house of the University's campus in Legon. The facility is a complex comprising a bar/restaurant, a gym, a massage parlour and a tennis court. A badminton
court may be an add-on.

Certificate Course in Practical Treasury Management (CCIPTM)


The significance of treasury function (management) has been highlighted over the past few years. This is due to the ever-increasing range, variety and complexity of the available Financial instruments coupled with the urgent need to constantly update treasury management functions. Treasury personnel must be equipped with the requisite skills and competences in order to effectively and efficiently undertake this critical responsibility. Treasury management personnel must have the core knowledge, technical and practical skills required for treasury management. In 2008 the University of Professional Studies, Accra saw the urgent need to develop both the capacity and capabilities of its existing staff without undermining the continuity, stability and decorum of the labor force at the time. 

The university as a forward looking and progressive institution recognized the need to break out of the outdated tendencies of sponsoring its staff on traditional 3-4 years residential programmes that take staff away from the job at a time when it could not employ new staff and needed continuity while still developing new academic credentials needed to reposition the university.
